I am a qualified yoga coach and teacher and am deeply committed to exploring the awareness of self through the practice of yoga. I completed a Yoga Alliance Registered 200hr Teacher Training with Australia’s yoga education guru, Mark Breadner of YogaCoach in 2012. I am excited to share my enthusiasm with others with the intent of bringing more joy and vibrancy to everyday life.
I have a background of architecture and design, and through my own yoga practice, I have experienced its first-hand benefits in the design and corporate worlds in terms of unleashing creative spark and calming the stresses of the job!
My practice sprouted with Ashtanga yoga in 2001 but has since incorporated other styles including Hatha, Power Vinyasa, Anusara and Yin. I give thanks to all my past teachers, including Mark Breadner, Fiona Parker, Deb Grant, Paul Fletchling and Eileen Hall, who have all inspired me in many ways. I have also taken part in past retreats and workshops with Mark Robberds, Dena Kingsberg and Sharath Rangaswamy.
A little story about my yoga journey can be found here.
These days when I’m not doing handstands, dreaming of coconut lychee gelatos, designing houses, teaching yoga or learning how to use twitter, I’m spending time with good company, getting inspired and doing just about anything that brings me back to wellbeing.
My mission statement? That I practice what I teach, and infuse my classes with exploration and a lighthearted approach, allowing greater mind-body awareness, clarity and freedom.
